The mission of the Louisiana Firefighters Foundation is to provide training, education, development, and benevolence opportunities for Louisiana Firefighters. The Foundation also focuses on educating Louisiana ‘Citizen Responders’ with free training courses that are taught by active Paramedics and Firefighters along with equipping our community school, church and business leaders with life-saving tools.

The Community Training Services (CTS) is a division of the Louisiana Firefighters Foundation. The CTS furthers the Foundation’s goal of saving lives and property by empowering the community to understand what actions they should take to save lives prior to the arrival of public safety agencies.

Bleeding Control Class

Our educational partners at Central Private are prepared for anything now!

"Today our faculty and staff completed the Stop the Bleed course offered by the Louisiana Firefighters Foundation. The purpose of this course is to help our teachers recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene before the arrival of first-responders. They also provided each of our teachers with an emergency bleeding kit for their classrooms and a kit for each front office. Thank you to the Louisiana Firefighters Foundation for offering this training!"
